Wanna know something I absolutely hate to read in books? Obviously, the most glaringly evident issue that this situation presents is the monetary aspect of it. First, it did start a bit slow, but it was nice in that it let the story build and wasn’t rushed at allwhich I hate. Besides having a well written romance nailed, Manning also weaved some laugh out loud moments wonderfully into Unsticky. D I was so excited when I received the package that I started reading it immediately.
Thanks again for your recommendations! And yet, it came highly recommended by Angie, whose taste is excellent and is ver This review was originally published on Clear Eyes, Full Shelves.

At one of her lowest moments, Grace meets Vaughn, an older–extremely wealthy art dealer–who has an intriguing, and disturbing proposition for her: So they have drinks in some swnaky fancy pants bar unstickj Grace starts to realise she is way out of her depth, I mean this isn’t a bottle of wine in All Bar One, this is mannint with a older chap in a private club, so she leaves.
And, more importantly, whatever happened to love?
However, I did enjoy reading the book. I could not agreed more.
Sadra a slow, but rewarding, adventure, filled with many memorable arguments, inexcusable words, and tender moments. A lot of what I liked about the book is the lifestyle it showed and as someone always envious of those hot young things living it up in London, it did nothing to quell my desire to live in the capital. I suppose so because I just could not pull myself away from them. However, I must say, the last quarter of the book really had me.
The amazing first adult novel from Sarra Manning — this is “Pretty Woman “for mannnig twenty-first century. It was the abusive aspect of the relationship.
It was being with a man like Vaughn who’d obviously seen something in her that she still couldn’t see in herself. I kept seeing a lot of people com 3. Towards the end I think they had finally maning to compliment each other but it was that first half of the book that troubled me.
Unsticky by Sarra Manning – book review
It’s long, it’s dark, the characters are completely flawed and the relationship between Vaughn and Grace is morally questionable BUT and that is a huge BUT It just seems that men can only stomach her for three months at a time, this dumping being the latest conforming to what seems her three month limit.
No eBook available Amazon. She has 8 credit cards and 7 of them have reached their limit, she cries because her not-so-boyfriend dumps her on her birthday even though she doesn’t love him and is rude to a stranger who treats her nice and later buys her an expensive designer bag. I kinda liked her most of the time. I love Vaughn and Grace…they’re not perfect, their flaws is so real, those little things that puts you who you are, are like them they don’t have the exaggerated life this are people you see outsi Wow this book is Amazing! But then, we all know how that story ends so I can’t help but wonder if thats why Grace says yes to his propostion, signs a contracts and falls head first into a world she can’t quite manoeuvre.
This book was weird. Sarra is now editor of What To Wear magazine.
Grace ReevesJames Vaughn. Dates are copyright dates. Same type of contract… minus the hardcore stuff. Hot Mess Lucy Vine. And, I guess they did. They were so unsticyk, so horribly, horribly isolated from the world around them.
Book Review – Unsticky by Sarra Manning
Not going to deny that. This book is longer than normal, over pages, but I never felt like I wanted it to end. At the start I just wanted to bash her head in with mannibg the horrible decisions she was making, the mess she made of her life, her constant spending, she was on her way to an episode of Hoarders.
With the tears flowing she is whisked up by a knight in shining armour who takes her out of the store and sits her down for a drink. So, why was I reading it again? We were slowly given glimpses of his considerate side which he had kept hidden away for so long and which I really thought never existed. But when I get them home, I realise it’s not going to work and I can’t bring myself to look at them and then I feel sarda worse and it’s just this never-ending loop that I can’t break.
Stuck in a grind where everyone’s ahead apart from her, she’s partied out, disillusioned, and massively in debt
